Copper Canyon Academy offers a Equine Assisted Therapy and Canine Assisted therapy. These programs are especially valuable for troubled teenage girls who have a history of not responding well to traditional "talk therapy" and adolescent girls struggling with attachment and bonding issues.

Copper Canyon Academy focuses on all aspects of a student's life: emotional, mental, physical, social, and spiritual. These are the essential elements of each girls' life become successful in and out of the classroom. When a student takes the steps to develop into a complete, well-rounded person she is on the "trail to success".

Copper Canyon Academy offers girls college prep academics and is fully accredited by North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. All academic classes are taught by Arizona Certified Teachers. Copper Canyon Academy's academic program is designed to maximize a students learning potential, a joy of learning, and also utilizes a unique credit recovery program.

Students enrolled at Copper Canyon Academy can also participate in school-sponsored extra-curricular activities and off-campus trips that promote further academic and personal growth through supervised activities. Twice a year, Copper Canyon juniors and seniors travel to Washington, D.C. to take part in the Presidential Classroom. During the summer, the girls of Copper Canyon Academy experience great drama and foster an appreciation for the arts at the Utah Shakespearean Festival.
